What does the score mean?
The 0–100 score indicates detected AI-generation signals. A higher score means stronger signals; it does not measure image quality or prove that a photo is authentic. The overall assessment can be inconclusive.

A higher score indicates stronger AI-generation signals in the analysis. A score of 75 does not mean 75% of the image was generated, and it is not a measure of image quality.

Start with the original file
Use a directly saved original when possible. Repeated screenshots, resizing and re-encoding can remove details or introduce new image artifacts.
Consider edits and mixed content
Filters, restoration, denoising and local AI edits may affect the score. One image may contain both captured and generated content; an overall assessment cannot locate every edited area.
Keep more evidence for important decisions
For news verification, submission reviews or commercial use, also consider the creation process, original records and publication context. Treat the result as a clue, not a sole basis for an accusation.

What is an AI image detector?
It analyzes an image for signals associated with AI generation and returns a score and assessment. It cannot establish who created the image.
Which files can I upload?
One JPG, JPEG, PNG or WebP image at a time, up to 10 MB. Each side must be 32–10,000 pixels, with at most 40 megapixels in total.
Is it free to use?
Guests can complete one free check per day, subject to device and IP limits. Signed-in members use 2 credits per successful check. Failed checks do not consume credits or the free allowance.
Can the result be wrong?
Yes. Screenshots, compression, editing and unfamiliar generation methods may cause errors. Use the original image and verify its source; never rely on the score alone.
What happens to my image?
Your image is sent for analysis by a processing service, which may retain it. AirMore does not add the upload to its media library. The local preview is cleared when you remove the image. Avoid uploading sensitive or confidential images.
Can I check multiple images or get a heatmap?
This page checks one image at a time. Batch analysis and heatmaps are not available. Remove the current image to check another.
