How to separate vocals online

Upload, choose your tracks, then listen and save.

  1. Choose your audio or video

Upload audio or video up to 100 MB. Preview and listen to your source before you begin.

  2. Choose your audio outputs

Select original audio, vocals, accompaniment, or a combination. Start extraction and keep the page open while it processes.

  3. Listen and download

Listen to each selected track and download the MP3 files you need. Playing or downloading a completed task again does not cost more.

One file. Your choice of audio.

Keep the mix together or separate the sounds you need for your next project.

Keep the voice

Create a vocal track for listening practice, rough edits or your own remix projects. Other sounds may remain when voices overlap instruments or have strong reverb.

Keep the music

Reduce the main vocal to prepare backing music for rehearsal or karaoke practice. Dense mixes and backing vocals can leave audible remnants, so listen before using the track.

Audio and video, in one workspace

Upload MP3, WAV or M4A audio, or MP4, MOV and WEBM video without installing an editor. Preview the source, choose your outputs and save the MP3 tracks. Video images are not changed or exported.

Choose the right audio track

Choose any combination before processing. Each selected track is saved as a separate MP3.

Original audio

Original audio: keep the complete mix

Extract the full soundtrack, including voices, music and other sounds, as one MP3. Choose this to reuse a video’s audio without separating its parts. MP3 export can re-encode the source; it is not a lossless copy.

Vocals

Vocals: focus on the voice

Choose this track when you want to hear the singing or speech more clearly, study phrasing, or prepare voice material for an edit. All voices may remain together; this does not separate individual speakers.

Instrumental

Instrumental: leave room for your voice

Choose this track for singing practice or to work with the musical arrangement. Removing voices may also affect instruments with similar frequencies; it does not recreate the original studio stems.

Made for practice and creative work

Make room for your voice, your ideas, and your next practice session.

Singing practice

Rehearse with the instrumental and compare your timing against the vocal track. Use your own recordings or songs you are authorized to process.

Creative editing

Prepare separate voice and music references for your own audio projects. Check for artifacts, and obtain any required rights before publishing.

Listening and language study

Listen to speech or vocals with less background music. This tool does not generate a transcript or guarantee removal of every background sound.

Frequently asked questions

Formats, output quality, and how processing is charged.

How much does extraction cost?

Sign in to use the tool. Each successful task costs 2 credits in total, whether you choose one, two or all three tracks. Failed tasks and incomplete selected outputs do not incur a charge.

Can I upload a video?

Yes. MP4, MOV and WEBM videos and MP3, WAV and M4A audio are supported, up to 100 MB. Export the original soundtrack, vocals or instrumental as MP3. Video images are not exported. Unsupported or damaged files can fail.

Will the vocals disappear completely?

Results depend on the original mix. Reverb, harmonies and overlapping frequencies can leave residual voice or artifacts. Original audio keeps the complete mix; it does not remove voices.

Can I choose more than one output?

Yes. Select any combination of original audio, vocals and instrumental before starting. Each selected track can be previewed and downloaded separately. The total remains 2 credits for one successful task.

What happens if I refresh or lose the connection?

Refreshing resets the tool and does not restore the old file or result. During a temporary network failure, keep the page open and use “Check again” for the same task. Starting a new task replaces an unfinished workflow; cloud work already started may continue, but a replaced workflow will not start further steps or charge.
